Whether you are a motorcyclist or tourist touring our beautiful country; travelling for business, seeking a break away from your busy life or simply on an adventure, you are sure to enjoy your stay.
We have recently expanded our accommodation to include the property next door which has a 4 bedroom home and a private Studio. Each of the accommodation spaces at Riders’ Rest can be independently booked or depending on availability, all five spaces can be booked for larger groups.

The House | $90 pp or $150 per room

The LODGE
SLEEPS: 2 - One Bedroom with ensuite - Super king bed which can be converted into two king singles.
Architecturally designed, The Riders’ Rest Lodge offers you a large bedroom pod with lovely modern ensuite and you can enjoy the view from the shower.
The second pod provides a lounge, full kitchen and dining area. The 2 pods are connected with a large deck and breezeway, along with a hot tub strategically positioned to capture the morning sunrises and evening views.
OTHER FEATURES:
Frame smart TV in both pods with internet; dish washer; washing machine; hot tub
BREAKFAST:
There is a range of restaurants and cafes nearby. The full kitchen means you can also cook your own.
PARKING: Safe on-site parking and undercover parking for bikes
RATES: $200 per night
STUDIO ONE
SLEEPS: 2 - One Bedroom with lovely modern ensuite - Super king bed which can be converted into two king singles.
A stylish one bedroom pod with modern ensuite.
Coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge are provided. You can enjoy your morning coffee and the view from your bed or enjoy your coffee on your private deck while watching the sunrise.

The NEST
SLEEPS: 2 - One Bedroom with lovely modern ensuite - King bed or 2 King singles
Perched high to capture the morning sunrise and views down the Bream Bay coastline, The Nest is one bedroom pod with a Kingsize bed, ensuite along with a kitchenette for making that morning coffee or refreshing tea. You also have access to the glorious outside shower and bath and the outside kitchen can be made available upon request.
On the deck outside The Nest and The Cabin is a large macrocarpa table we refer to as “the Game of Thrones table”.

The CABIN
SLEEPS: 2 (One Bedroom, Ensuite and Lounge)
The cabin is a unique room with memorabilia of riding and diving with a Queensize bed, a comfortable Eco couch (for an extra bed) and cozy potbelly for those winter evenings. Whilst the outside shower and bath are available, it also has a small ensuite. The outside kitchen provides basic cooking facilities with a fullsize fridge. On the deck outside the Cabin and the Nest is a large macrocarpa table we refer to as “the Game of Thrones table”.

Continental Breakfast can be provided with a range of restaurants and cafes nearby that your hosts can transport you to and from.

STUDIO TWO
SLEEPS: 2 (One Bedroom, Ensuite and Lounge)
Studio Two is a stylish larger open plan studio featuring a king bed, 2 seater lounger and chair with a larger kitchenette space. It has a smaller ensuite than Studio One however guests can enjoy the expansive sea views across Bream Bay and the Hen & Chicks Islands from both the bedroom and lounge area.
Ideal for couples, business travellers and contractors seeking longer stays.

Sleeping up to 7 guests, The House at Riders’ Rest offers spacious Ruakākā accommodation with panoramic views across Bream Bay, Whangārei Harbour and the surrounding Northland countryside.
Featuring four bedrooms, including three with private ensuites, The House is ideal for motorcyclists, touring groups, families and friends looking for a comfortable Northland getaway. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area flow to a large outdoor entertaining space complete with a barbecue and pizza oven.
